The Sports Management Group, in coordination with the various NCASA* sanctioned Hispanic soccer leagues across North Carolina, held a formal tryout of players on Sunday, July 6, 2003 from 5pm to 8pm at Dorothea Dix City Park in Raleigh, NC to participate in the 2003 Bridging Through The Game: International Soccer Series.  The Soccer Series was held on July 17 & 20, 2003 at SAS Stadium in Cary, North Carolina.

The N.C. La Liga Representative Team played Northampton Town FC (England) on Sunday, July 20 at 2pm.
